Carolina Paranormal Society is a not-for-profit group whose purpose is to research and investigate evidence of paranormal phenomenon (ghosts) using practices and methods which are scientific in nature. Our goal in trying to prove whether or not ghosts exist is to gather and seek information on paranormal incidents to help us have a better understanding of ghosts and hauntings. In the process of reaching our goal we also wish to help any individuals experiencing problems with the paranormal.
During the research process, we will interview the client to determine what kind of paranormal phenomenon is taking place. We will also look into the history of the building and the land where the paranormal activity is taking place to see if there is any relevant history, such as a death, that might contribute to the phenomenon.
During an investigation we will collect data with a variety of instruments including but not limited to, infrared video cameras, digital cameras, camcorders, electromagnetic field detectors (EMF), digital thermometers, voice recorders, and more. We do NOT use ouija boards, seances or other forms of summoning in order to research the paranormal. We do not perform exorcisms, cleansings or banishings.
We respect our clients right to privacy. Everything is strictly confidential unless we receive written permission to use it elsewhere.
There are no charges for any of these services, however any donations would gratefully be accepted. Any donations received would go towards operational expenses.
Carolina Paranormal Society is based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and primarily covers North Carolina (NC) and South Carolina (SC) as an official TAPS Family team for both, but we will travel around the South East, if needed.
